🛑Decision Intelligence is not AI, machine learning, business rules, data analysis, or predictive models!

✨Historically, there are many branches in the field of AI, but their intent and their purposes are different. Decision Intelligence is an attempt to bring together everything in the field of AI and other engineering fields related to decision-making in a uniform manner.

All algorithms, components, techniques, and methods in Decision Intelligence come from different practices such as statistics, computer science, data science, operational research, and so on. Decision Intelligence (DI) is a convergence of all relevant techniques in each of these fields, bringing them together with the intent of creating a discipline to help organizations understand and reengineer how decisions are made and how their outcomes are evaluated.

💡What makes the Decision Intelligence successful? Its focus on business decisions in an inclusive approach. Especially when the DI starts with modeling decisions which enables combining multiple disciplines in one practical technique and framework of thinking to address challenges of decision-making in organizations by focusing on business decisions rather than data, ai/ml, rules, math and etc.

💣What's needed as the core of Decision Intelligence? A decision model that is composite and integrates different techniques such as business rules, optimization, statistics, machine learning, etc. and orchestrates everything (data, human, systems, processes, etc.) around this composite, unified model.
